About

The O'Hara name has meant bread in Mayo since 1951, when the family started a bakery in nearby Foxford, and the tradition now has a Ballina home in Baker51, the family's café and bakery in the town. The breads and bakes are the thing, made to long-held recipes, and they turn up on tables and in shops across North Mayo. For a town that defines itself by its food producers as much as its restaurants, a loaf or a box of bakes from O'Hara's is an honest, local thing to take home.
