The Ice House is Ballina's design-led boutique hotel, built around a converted Victorian ice house on the bank of the Moy where salmon were once landed and stored on ice. Rooms in the contemporary wing look straight out over the tidal river, and the draw is the riverside spa with its outdoor hot tubs and barrel sauna by the water.
