The market on the cobbled Market Place, where Northumberland County Council's page promises traders selling locally sourced fresh produce, handmade goods and gifts. It runs on Thursdays and Saturdays from March to December, with an extra Wednesday market from June to October, 10am to 4pm. A private operator runs it, not the council; enquiries go to alnwick.market@gmail.com. In December 2026 the weekend Festive Markets move indoors to the Pavilion at The Alnwick Garden.
