Travelling to Bray by DART

Getting to Bray

How to reach Bray by DART, bus, taxi, car, or bicycle.

DART Train

The easiest way to reach Bray from Dublin. Bray Daly is the southern terminus of the DART line, so you cannot miss your stop on the way down. Trains run from Dublin Connolly, Tara Street, and Pearse, with some services continuing on to Greystones. The DART is also the practical link to Greystones now that the Cliff Walk between the two towns is closed.

Duration
About 45-49 minutes
Frequency
Roughly every 10 minutes at peak, less often off-peak

Tips

  • The station is formally Bray Daly; most people just say Bray.
  • Buy a Leap Card before you travel; it is cheaper than single tickets and works on DART, buses, and Luas.
  • Some services continue to Greystones, the quickest way to make that hop while the Cliff Walk is closed.
