Arnolds is the hotel on Main Street that faces the bay, run by the same family for four generations, and its kitchen is the one most of the village ends up in at some point in the week. The hotel's own menu notes name the produce plainly: seafood from Sheephaven Bay, Horn Head lamb, vegetables from nearby farms, and Wheaten and Guinness breads baked in the house. There are two rooms to eat in. The main restaurant runs seasonally and does not open every evening in the quieter months; when it is shut, the same à la carte dinner is served in the Whiskey Fly Bar and Bistro, which has open fires. The hotel's summer service is lunch from 12:30 to 15:30 and dinner from 16:00, with last dinner orders typically around 20:30. Walk-ins are welcome, but the hotel asks for a booking by phone in busy summer weeks, on 074 913 6208. There is a separate cocktail lounge, the Glenveagh Room, for afterwards.
