The family hotel in the middle of the village, on Main Street facing the bay, which the hotel says is now in its fourth generation of the same family. It has 30 bedrooms, including sea-view rooms over Sheephaven Bay, a restaurant, the Whiskey Fly Bar with open fires, a cocktail lounge and outdoor dining pods. You can walk to everything in the village from the door, including Killahoey strand. The hotel puts packages together with local operators, among them guided hikes on Muckish and Errigal with Atlantic Edge, and it runs weekend events in the off-season, such as a writers' weekend in November.
