About
A ten-stop audio walk through the village, launched in October 2021 and run by Dunfanaghy Tidy Towns with Donegal County Council. It starts at the Workhouse and works back east: Holy Cross Church, Pound Street, Main Street, Arnolds Hotel, the Presbyterian church, the Green, Market Square and the pier, the old Garda station and the Robertson Board School, and Holy Trinity Church of Ireland. Each stop has a three-to-five-minute audio story in English or Irish on a free app. The Workhouse can arrange a guided version at €10 a head for groups of eight or more. It is the quickest way to understand why a village this size has a workhouse, a market house and three churches.
