About
A championship links course set among some of the tallest sand dunes in the country, on the shore of Killala Bay at the mouth of the River Moy. The 18-hole Dunes course was opened by the renowned Irish architect Eddie Hackett in 1974 and later enhanced with six holes through the dunes by Donald Steel; it plays as a par 73 of around 7,000 yards. There is also a 9-hole Scurmore course, giving 27 holes in all. Consistently ranked among Ireland's finest links, it is dramatic, exposed and richly rewarding. Tee times are booked online through the BRS system or by phone.
