Down by John's Bridge on the Nore, Matt the Millers is a big, rambling bar and restaurant that turns into one of Kilkenny's busier live music spots after dark. Food runs through the day, roughly noon to half eight, and it is a fair bet for a casual lunch with a river view. Weekends get loud, which is rather the point.
