The Calder-Potts family have farmed at Highbank in Cuffesgrange since the orchard went in back in 1969, and the whole operation is now fully organic. They press apple juices, ferment ciders, and make the Highbank Orchard Syrup that has found its way onto a lot of good Irish menus. Tours and tastings run by arrangement, about six kilometres from the city.
