Medieval Mile Museum
About
Housed in the former St Mary's Church off High Street, this museum tells the story of medieval Kilkenny in the building where much of that story played out. The standout is the "3 Lives" exhibition, built around human remains excavated on the site in 2016, which puts faces and stories to the people who lived and were buried here. It is also the departure point for the guided Medieval Mile walking trail, so it works well as a first stop.
