Smithwick's Experience Kilkenny

← All things to do

About

Smithwick's traces its roots to 1710 on the site of the medieval St Francis Abbey, which makes this one of the oldest brewing stories in Ireland. The guided experience runs about an hour, walking you through the history of the ale and the abbey ruins on the site, and finishes the way it should, with a pint poured for you or a soft drink if you prefer. It sits on Parliament Street, right on the Medieval Mile.
