Purpose-built museum on Cathedral Square covering Waterford from the Norman conquest of 1170 to the Reformation. The collection includes the Great Charter Roll of 1373 and the Cloth-of-Gold Vestments worn at the medieval cathedral.

  • Open year-round except 25 and 26 December and 1 January
  • The Freedom of Waterford Pass at €25 covers this plus Bishop's Palace, the EPIC walking tour and Christ Church Cathedral, but no longer Reginald's Tower
