About
A nautical-themed seafood bar and restaurant on Westport Quay, beside Westport House, looking out over the harbour to Croagh Patrick. The fish is landed locally, from Rossaveal in Galway up to Ballina, and the chowder, the chilli-and-lime hake and the crab and salmon fishcakes are the regulars' picks. The building was the birthplace of Major John MacBride, marked by a plaque.
