A bakery and cafe at 1 Sherborne Street, right beside the Windrush, with a riverside terrace. It belongs to the Little Bakery Company, whose bakeries in Burford and Moreton-in-Marsh are its sisters, and it says it bakes all day in each shop: sourdough, a malted loaf, croissants and pastries, and breakfasts and lunches in the cafe. No bookings; everything is available to take away, which is how most people eat it, on the bank. Dogs are welcome on the terrace, and there are vegetarian and gluten-free options.
