Ashes has been in the same family on Main Street for well over a century, a proper bar at the front with a seafood restaurant behind it, so you can have a pint and a chowder at the counter or sit down to lobster and the day's catch. It is the town's best all-rounder for that reason: walk into the bar without a booking, or reserve the restaurant for dinner. The seafood is the strength, landed locally, and the bar keeps the easy buzz of a long-running Dingle local.
