About

Dick Mack's, opposite the church on Green Street, is the most famous of Dingle's surviving shop-pubs: a bar on one side and a working leather and boot shop on the other, serving since 1899. The pavement outside is studded with brass stars for the famous drinkers who have passed through, and the Brewhouse opposite turns out the pub's own beer year-round, with food trucks and brewery tours. It is touristy, yes, but the leather counter is real and so is the welcome. Walk in.
