Blasket Island Eco Tour with Wildlife Watching

← All things to do

About

This is a roughly three-hour boat tour out of Dingle Harbour run by Dingle Boat Tours, heading along the coast and out around the Blasket Islands to look for seals, dolphins, seabirds and, in season, whales and basking sharks. It is a wildlife and scenery trip rather than the old dolphin-spotting outings: Fungie, the harbour's resident dolphin for nearly forty years, disappeared in 2020 and is presumed dead, and the operators have built genuine eco tours around the islands and the open coast instead. The boat leaves from the pontoon near the marina; book ahead and dress for the wind.
